B.O.S.S. partnership event: the outcomes!

Firstly we would like to thank all companies for their participation at the partnership event that took place at the Padova Fair on 4th and 5th March 2005.

The final result has been successful. According to the final statistics, the event in Padova saw the participation of almost 350 companies, which had about 1.155 bilateral meetings. Following you will find the detailed statistics of the event; these figures confirm the effectiveness of the partnership formula in providing companies with new business opportunities and a direct access to the international market.

The Padova event’s goals have been achieved, since it certainly contributed to increase the European companies’ awareness about the EU enlargement process and its investment opportunities. These figures also show that the European companies have clearly expressed a deep willingness to cooperate and the need to be fully acquainted with opportunities offered by business co-operation.

The Padova event is the first of the three partnership events foreseen within the B.O.S.S. Project. The next event, in September 2005, will be held in Thessaloniki (Greece) and constitutes another big opportunity to improve the European companies’ ability to cooperate and to exploit the new business opportunities of the EU enlargement.
