2^nd B.O.S.S. partnership event: the results!

First of all we would like to thank all the project partners and all the companies that attended the 2^nd partnership event organised within the B.O.S.S. project in Thessaloniki on 15^th and 16^th September 2005, whose contribution to the success of the event was essential. The event main objectives were to:

-boost entrepreneurial activity in the Project Partner countries,

-encourage the development of joint activities between businesses from the countries involved,

-improve the technical expertise of companies in the region,

-help the development of human resources of companies in the region.

The results of the Thessaloniki event are more than positive! The participation of almost 300 companies and the arrangement of about 1.100 bilateral meetings confirm the effectiveness of the partnership formula in assisting companies in search of new business opportunities. Furthermore the event contributed to show even more clearly than before the strong willingness of the European companies to co-operate and to be fully acquainted with the enlarged market opportunities.

The Thessaloniki event is the second of the three partnership events foreseen within the B.O.S.S. Project. The next event will be held in Udine (Italy) in March 2005 and will constitute another big opportunity to improve the European companies’ability to cooperate and to exploit the new business opportunities offered by the EU enlargement.
